KING OF THE MIXTAPE

Following the opening of our flagship pop-up store in Covent Garden, London, we have decided that it is time we got YOU the customer involved!

We recognise that the King brand would not be where it is today without your support and as such we are using the pop-up store as an outlet to help promote your projects and creative ideas.

The first phase of this is the KING OF THE MIXTAPE, whereby we will sell YOUR mixtape/CD through the King store on an SOR basis. You will get to keep ALL income from the sale of each unit (minus 70p charge per unit to cover VAT), feature in the in-store and online top ten chart for best selling mixtapes as well as having the opportunity to win monthly prizes as a top selling artist.

The rules are simple:

• Send a sample of your latest mixtape/CD to us including your full contact details to: KING OF THE MIXTAPE, KING APPAREL, UNIT 339, STRATFORD WORKSHOPS, BURFORD ROAD, LONDON, E15 2SP
• We will then select the best 20 submissions and contact you to send in 10 units for sale at the store
• Only 10 mixtapes/CD’s will be taken at any one time
• ALL mixtapes/CD’s will be sold for £5.00 inc VAT
• Artists are responsible for contacting us on 02082211611 to arrange payment from the sale of their mixtapes, as well as replenish stock. All payments will be made by cheque or bank transfer.
• Artists must use the KING template provided to promote their mixtape availability online. Failure to do so will result in the removal of their mixtape from sale
• King Apparel is not liable for any loss, theft or damage to any mixtapes/CD’s stocked
• There are strictly NO refunds on faulty mixtapes. Any faulty mixtapes will be subject to a straight exchange for the same mixtape purchased

Below is a copy of the KING template to be used to promote your mixtape online. All you need to do is drag this image on to your desktop, replace the example CD sleeve shown with one of your own and then upload onto your own website, myspace, facebook or other promotional online website.
