Blurring the concept of the traditional fashion shoot, London based creative collective BLK.NICHE present their ‘shoot within a shoot’ video look book in collaboration with British street wear bastions King Apparel.
Addressing pertinent issues within today’s fashion industry and challenging the status quo distinctions created by big brand marketing, the edit takes a predominantly male dominated sector and places it firmly in the hands of the female gender.
Taking innovative street wear trends, off set with a nod to high-street influence, the chosen cast of black female models also tackles the controversy surrounding the lack of diversity and black female presence in the industry, proving that true change starts from the grassroots.
