Recently taken under the management wing of Wiley’s independent set up we’ve been moving with the young East London based MC for a number of years as his craft and skills have developed. In the mould of the heritage of the KING brand, SBK is also renowned for being a self-made and self-funded artist with his remit going beyond holding the mic, with many production credits under his name as well as his own record label ‘Enxrgy Recordings’.
Authenticity and integrity are utmost when it comes to the talents that we link with and this is one artist that is renowned for the honesty and openness of his lyrical content - a trait that has seen him grace Lord Of The Mics, Rinse FM, 1xtra, and on stage with Boy Better Know, AJ Tracey and more.
With the East London connection and the DIY ethic, a link up for this season’s ‘Diversion Ends > Lifted Vision collection was light work as SBK rolled through our manor in some of the sickest pieces from the new line.
A candid, ‘capture the moment’ outing along the alleys and back doubles of the notorious Carpenters Estate - a setting that is at the heart of both KING and SBK’s cultural and creative story.
