Last week we popped over to London sneaker store Foot Patrol to check out the release party for their collaboration shoe with Pony. They went for the Pony TopStar Ox & Hi, with the resulting output taking cues from Pony's rich history in basketball.
The night started with a talk from the current Pony CEO, who I forgot the name of. Sorry dude.
He told us loads (well, maybe not loads) of interesting facts too. Did you know that Pony stands for 'Product of New York'? Nope neither did I.
The real highlight were the free hotdogs.
Everyone knows the key to a successful event is having attractive women serve you free gourmet hot dogs. Other brands take note.

I didn't even know that they were involved in Basketball back in the day, I was only aware of the brand because I once saw Chino from Deftones wear it when I used to buy Kerrang (forgive me, I was 14).
