PULL UP 'EPISODE 3' - YUNG FUME
The PULL UP series is shot in collaboration with our East London family United Development at their HQ - The Talent House. A state-of-the-art, cultural, music and dance hub based in Stratford that provides a location for young people to develop their talents and skills using their professional recording studios, live rooms, tech labs and dance studios.
For the third edition of the PULL UP series we picked things up with Yung Fume, a UK artist with international credentials and a deceptively high profile.
Straight outta Thornton Heath in South London, Fume made his name with his Noughts & Crosses mixtapes at the tail end of the last decade. Remixes from Wizkid and TyDollaSign cemented his pull in the US as well as features such as Lil Durk, Yung Tory and Young Adz. An artist with a diverse musical output and following his calling as a Young KING, it was only right that we shone the PULL UP series spotlight on Yung Fume.
With a unique drawling rap style Yung Fume does not instantly jump out as a typical ‘UK artist’ and it this originality that has given him a foot up on the international stage. Following sell-out tour dates in Autumn 2022 check out the lookbook and three part video series below, as Fume expands on his career to date, inspirations, what to expect in 2023 and his style and clothing influences.
Yung Fume will be dropping new material in 2023 and begins his live tour at the end of month. We will be giving away two tickets for his 24th Jan date at Colours in Hoxton, London, so make sure you’re following our socials on instagram, twitter, tiktok and facebook (@kingapparel) to be in with a chance to win these tickets.
