Maybe the most hyped skate video of 2014 so far arrived on our shores this weekend with a heavily over subscribed, invite only screening at the Prince Charles Cinema in central London.

Obviously ya boy was on the list, and due to having nothing to do beforehand, was also pretty near the front of the giant queue.

The free snacks were a nice touch, as were the free beers in the VIP section that we promptly liberated and gave to a more deserving home (my mouth).

Assorted friends who skateboard.

Jason Dill, Alex Olson and Dylan Rieder came over with film-maker William Strobeck and did a little intro to the video.

The vid was actually really good, and it was heartening to see Lucien Clarke get the biggest reaction from the home-town crowd. I know we were in a cinema, but the premiere was decidedly less rowdy then pretty much any premiere I've been to ever, which is even more surprising considering I was attending it with my friends who are a massive bunch of skateboarding reprobates.

The after party was on, open bar and attended by a veritable who's who of anything remotely cool in London.

The infamous Mobb Deep took care of entertainment, flown over from New York especially. They made way for Benji B to take over on the decks before Skepta and Tempa T took to the stage. A fantastic night, which my hangover the next morning confirmed. Hate on Supreme all you want but they killed it on the video and they throw a damn good party.
