RIME1

A short walk from Goliath in East Harlem back towards the Upper East Side brings us to Rime, which sites on East 87th Street, just off Lexington. I was excited about this one, not only because it's an awesome store but because I would get a chance to scope out some trainers I can't afford.

RIME2

Rime started off in 2007 with a store on Smith Street in downtown Brooklyn, before expanding to this location in the Upper East Side. It's been growing ever since and I can't think of a better place in the five boroughs to get those top-tier Nikes.

I love these Nike Lunar Prestos, brilliant update on the Air Presto from the early 2000s.

RIME4

Unlike these Pumas, not a massive fan.

RIME5

Small store, great and concise selection.

Never been a fan of Foamposites but when displayed like this it makes me change my mind a little.

Rime was prettybusy the entire time we were in there, another store with a great community around it.

If you're a Yeezy 2 owner we've got you covered in Spring '14. Of even if you just have the Air Max 1 colour way. And yes this means we're doing more East London Kings graphics in 2014, cos, you know, we are right?

Was also a pleasure hanging out with the manager, Frankie. This dude knows his shit bigtime...

... as well as being the only person I've ever seen actually pull off these gold Undefeated X PUMA Clydes
