One of the most prominent emerging names in the Grime scene, YGG – You Get Grime is beginning to cause major waves. In a sector that is awash with ‘new artists,’ this is no mean feat. As a brand that has always championed emerging new music and artists, especially in the UK and Grime scene, it is fitting that YGG has been spotted numerous times in KING.
Comprised of MC’s, Saint, PK and Lyrical Strally they cut their teeth through underground radio, on stations such as Radar that have helped push new talent into the ears and culture of many Londoners. From here, they further enhanced their name at Eski dance, Skepta’s pre show performance at Boiler Room, via Rinse FM and through live performances at Fabric.
A bright future beckons for the boys as part of the new generation, so keep an eye out across this Summer’s festival circuit and grime events such as Red Bull Culture Clash over the coming months.
