Our second visit of the year to the Long Beach edition of Agenda and we weren’t disappointed. Agenda LB is a totally different affair to that of NY. Where as NY has an intimate core streetwear feel to it, Agenda is more of a traditional convention with a gamut of action sports brands, surfing, footwear, lifestyle, skate and of course streetwear.
Without doubt the streetwear and skate sections were the busiest and attracted the majority of interest and with our pitch up alongside the Hundreds, and in amongst Quintin, In4mation and BBC, we were in the hub of all the activity.
It was two days of meetings, introductions and order writing. Some familiar faces from stores that we already deal with on the West Coast as well as new distribution contacts for Japan and Canada and a ton of new accounts meant that it was a trip worthwhile and one that we will definitely be taking in again at the start of 2014.
